Card Types

IDOLs use their skills while ONSTAGE and provide ENERGY for skills while BACKSTAGE. You can have a maximum of 5 IDOLs ONSTAGE and 5 IDOLs BACKSTAGE at a time.

SONGs are cards that provide a one time effect when played. Only one SONG can be performed per turn and is discarded after playing it.

CINDERELLA IDOLs are special double sided IDOL cards. They have the same layout as IDOL cards and work the same way.
Play Area
This is what your play area looks like. Your opponent’s play area will look the same (but upside down probably).

Setup
Set your FEVER to 10.
All players put their Cinderellas ONSTAGE at the same time. The IDOL with the least BODY goes first. If there is a tie decide who goes first randomly.
Shuffle your deck and draw 3 cards. Each player may mulligan once by putting all cards in their hand on the bottom of their deck and drawing 3 new cards.
Set 5 cards from the top of your deck face down BACKSTAGE.

what your play area should look like after setup
How to Win
Reduce other the producer’s FEVER to 0 by KO-ing their IDOLs
Turn Progression
Turn Start
- If your CINDERELLA is not ONSTAGE put her ONSTAGE
- Draw a card from your deck.
- If you have any face down cards BACKSTAGE pick one and put it into your hand.
- If you have an IDOL is the spotlight move her out of the spotlight.
Main Turn
Do any of the following as many times as you want in any order:
- Play an IDOL BACKSTAGE
- Use an IDOL’s skill
- Perform a SONG (can only be done once per turn)
Turn End
- Refresh all your IDOLs
Main Turn Actions
Playing IDOLs BACKSTAGE
IDOLs can be played BACKSTAGE as long as there is room BACKSTAGE for them. Up to 5 cards can be BACKSTAGE at a time including face down cards.
Using IDOL skills
To use a skill select a refreshed (upright cards are refreshed) IDOL to use a skill. If an IDOL has more than 1 skill choose 1 of them. Rest IDOLs (turn the card sideways to rest them) in your BACKSTAGE with ENERGY equal to or more than the skill’s cost. You can not rest more IDOLs after the cost has been met. Untyped ENERGY in a skill’s cost, denoted by the white pegasus symbol, can be paid for with any type energy. IDOLs can not be rested to pay for their own skills.

Nana Abe [SR]’s MARCHEN BEAM‘s cost is [p][w] so to pay for it you could rest Sachiko Koshimizu [R] who provides 1 [p] and Miyu Mifune [R] who provides 1 [b] (since [w] can be paid for with any ENERGY). While Uzuki Shimamura [SSR]’s FIRST SMILE can be paid for by resting Sachiko but can’t be paid by resting Miyu.
If the IDOL who used the skill is BACKSTAGE move them ONSTAGE. IDOLs cannot attack from BACKSTAGE if your ONSTAGE is full. Take into account any IDOL POWERs that have to do with IDOLs going ONSTAGE.
If the skill has a damage value choose an opponent’s IDOL as the target of the skill. If the opponent has an IDOL in the spotlight it must be chosen as the target. Do damage equal to the skill’s damage value to the chosen IDOL. If the opponent has no IDOLs ONSTAGE reduce the opponent’s FEVER by the ENERGY value of the IDOL using the skill no matter how much damage is done.
Resolve the skill’s effect text and any damage done. Take into account any IDOL POWERs that apply.
Rest the IDOL that used the skill.
Notes on taking damage
Damage on IDOLs is persistent. Put some kind of damage counter on the IDOL to keep track of it. If the IDOL takes damage equal to or more than the IDOL’s BODY that IDOL is KO’d (KICKED OFFSTAGE). When an IDOL is KO’d discard the IDOL and reduce the FEVER of that IDOL’s team by that IDOL’s ENERGY value.
Performing SONGs
A SONG can be performed once per turn. To perform a SONG the SONG’s ONSTAGE requirement must be met by having at least the same amount and types of IDOLs ONSTAGE. If the requirement is met play the SONG card from your hand. Resolve the effect text and discard the SONG.

Brand New! [SR] has an ONSTAGE requirement of [b][p][b] and can be played because the requirement is met by Koume a cool [b] IDOL, Uzuki a cute [p] IDOL and Nao another cool [b] IDOL. The order of the IDOLs onstage doesn’t matter and Nao is a Cool IDOL despite providing and using cute ENERGY. Miria being ONSTAGE does not effect the ability to play the SONG having more IDOLs than the requirement is OK.
Deckbuilding
A deck is 40 cards + 1 CINDERELLA IDOL and you can only have 3 cards with the same name in a deck including the CINDERELLA. Other than that the sky is the limit try putting together your favourite SONGs and IDOLs and see what happens. I also have a list of sample decks you can try out.
Glossary
Peek
When a card tells you to peek look at the card it says to peek at and put it back after looking at it. If you’re told to peek at multiple cards you can put them back in whatever order you’d like.
Rest
Turn a card sideways to rest it. Resting IDOLs cannot use skills or provide ENERGY but their IDOL POWERs are still in effect.
Refresh
When a card is refreshed turn it so it is standing upright. IDOLs can use skills or provide ENERGY when they are upright.
Heal
Remove damage from an IDOL equal to the amount it says to heal. If an effect would heal more damage than an IDOL has heal all damage.
KO
Stands for KICKED OFFSTAGE. When an IDOL takes damage greater than her BODY she is KO’d. KO’d IDOLs are put in the discard and the stage loses FEVER equal to the ENERGY she provides. KO’d CINDERELLA IDOLs do not go to the discard instead they flip to their SSR side and lose FEVER equal to the ENERGY she provides.
Spotlight
When an IDOL is put in the spotlight move her forward half a card height to show she’s in the spotlight. IDOLs put in the spotlight must be targeted before other IDOLs. Only one IDOL can be in the spotlight per stage. If another IDOL would be put in the spotlight when another IDOL is already there move the first IDOL out of the spotlight and the new one into the spotlight. IDOLs move out of the spotlight at turn start.
Producer
In this game it is another word for player. Producers are IDOL managers.
Discard Pile
Where cards go when they are discarded, where IDOLs go when they are KO’d and where SONGs go after they’ve been performed.
ONSTAGE
Where IDOLs perform. Your CINDERELLA starts in the center slot. Up to 5 IDOLs can be here at a time.
BACKSTAGE
Where IDOLs provide support to the ONSTAGE IDOLs. Starts the game with 5 face down cards. Up to 5 cards can be BACKSTAGE at a time.
